Thanks for the many prayers
you up lift to our LORD for many of his
children.
I have worked for the Federal Government for 17
years and went to a retirement seminar last
month and found out that on my wages I will only
earn from the government $6,000 a year plus
whatever Social Security will bring with an
estimate of $13,000 per year to live on when it
is time for retirement. I either need another
job, or to know GOD's plan in this whole
matter. I have been single for years and raised
three sons so saving money was not an easy
matter. I do not own a home, it is a little
hard on my income. I have owned but when a
person transfers, they usually sell the home.
About 8 years ago I transferred back to CO to
take care of my mother taking a down grade even
thought my wage was not that great in first
place; and now I just got to the wages I was
making in 2000. This is not good and I do not
know where to go from here. I have applied for
so many positions and no offers, just
interviews. After 1989 The government changed
their way of doing retirement so what we put in
is on our own and they match only the first 5%
which is not much.
I would like to do more for the Lord, however my
friends say I do daily, I don't feel it is
enough. I am just in limbo wondering what GOD
has in mind, evidently not government as I never
got any of the positions for a raise that I
tried to acquire so many times. I know that the
author of Chicken Soup for the Soul, made it
with one idea that the LORD provided for him,
however I don't think my poems will come in at
prices like that. My sons could use silent
prayer and I have other silent prayers as well.

I would like prayer
for my sister and her son (my nephew). Daniel
is in the Marines and has already served one
tour in the
Bagdad area. He thinks he will probably
be going back in September. My sister was
fine with his first deployed, because it was
expected, but she is pretty unsettled about him
going back. Neither have a relationship with
Christ, though I'm sure both have accepted him
at one point. Daniel is married and has a
little girl who is almost 2. He missed her
first birthday, and I certainly don't want him
to miss any more.
Pray for God's
protection, and for my sister to have peace:

Please pray for God's hand of
protection to be upon my cousin, Ted Lohman. I
recently received an email from my Uncle Jim:
Ted was hit
with shrapnel in the leg a couple of days ago. He
is alright as he went to the hospital and was
released. They were on a "routine" training mission
in the desert and there were two Iraqis there where
they were not supposed to be. Ted's unit fired on
them and thought they were killed when one of them
turned over and detonated a suicide bomb. Those
things have all kinds of material in them like
screws, nails, pieces of metal of all types, etc.
and one piece went clean through his right leg.
Thank goodness he called first as we later received
a message from the army (a sergeant in Washington)
who only asked that we call a number back concerning
our son!!! Nothing else.
He could not tell us much more which
is probably a good thing.
I will say the army is efficient. So, other
than changing his shorts, Ted is ok. Keep praying
as he tells us he feels Christ is with him. - Rob

myself, and my dear friend. I need prayer that I
will accept and feel the forgiveness Christ offers,
that my dear friend forgives me, and that I forgive
myself. Also that I learn from it, not repeat it,

Please pray for my mother
Bonnie Leintz, she was diagnosed with lower
intestinal cancer and will be meeting on the 20th
with a surgeon. I pray she will be healed of her
cancer and if not that the perfect surgeon will be
doing the surgery. -

March 17th 2008, Brownsburg resident Sgt. Michael
Elledge paid the ultimate sacrifice for his country
when his vehicle was struck by an IED during combat
operations in
Iraq . Sgt. Elledge was assigned to C
Company, 1st Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment at Ft.
Carson Colorado . He leaves behind his wife Carleen
and three children, Chris, Caleb and Cassidy. Sgt.
Elledge and his family lived in Lake Ridge on
Bristle Lake Drive before being transferred to
Colorado.
Carleen Elledge and her three children will
be returning to Brownsburg for a memorial service to
be held at College
Park Church
at
96th Street
and Township Line road in Indianapolis on Tuesday,
April 29th at 6:30 pm. They will be arriving in
Brownsburg during the weekend of April 26th and will
be staying with friends and Lake Ridge residents,
Dwayne and Melissa Sawyer. As a show of support for
the Elledge family, we will be adorning the
neighborhood with flags prior to their arrival. The
Brownsburg American Legion will be supplying flags
for the neighborhood for the common areas and the
Lake Ridge Homeowner's Association will be
purchasing smaller flags for distribution to
residents who wish to put them in their yards during
the week of their visit.. Anyone interested in
obtaining one of these free flags should contact Ken

Dear Lord, I pray that your
power would prevail over this entire God Rally! Let
no weapon formed against this outreach prosper in
Jesus name. I ask that everyone would get there
safely and home again. We need you Lord and can't do
anything without you! God we love you. Keep us
Strong and Courageous! We live for You, want to
serve You in every area of our lives, and we need
You! Reign in majesty and make the miracles come
true as your will is done and we stand firm on your
promises. May hearts be touched and salvation found

Please pray for my brother in law,
Dustin Denning, and his wife and
newborn. Dustin was shipped over to
Iraq about a month ago and he will
be serving the remainder of his time
in the Army there. Please pray for
his safety and the safety of the men
who are serving with Dustin. Also,
Dustin has a newborn baby and wife
who are on an army base in Germany.
I know it must be hard for them
being so far from home and now
knowing that Dustin is in Iraq.
I just thought I would update
everyone on the upcoming surgery.
On June 4th I will be admitted into
Swedish Hospital for soft pallet
removal, tonsils, and uvula removal,
along with correction to my septum
and nasal area. Recovery will be
one day in the hospital and bed rest
for ten days to two weeks. Then,
around July/August I will have
braces on for a year & then Jaw
surgery to correct the rest of the
Sleep Apnea Problem.

Sharayah went in for a check-up
and she is showing signs of healing.
The danger was that the infection
would reach her brain causing severe
tissue damage and the possibility of
meningitis. She is fairly week and
in quite a bit of pain but we have
no doubt that it was by all your
prayers that the infection had not
already spread further than it had.
Father in heaven,
Glory be your name! You alone are
God, and worthy to be praised.

merciful and gracious and

My husband has a brain tumor that has come back
after a year of
surgery, radiation &
chemo. The
doctors say he only
has months to live.
Pray for healing or
acceptance, if this
is Gods will. Pray
for my life without
him. I am retired &
do not want to have
to go back to work,
since our home is
our only asset, with
only my husbands
social security
disability as
income. Pray
somehow my financial
needs will be met, &
I won't have to give
up my house.
Praise the Lord for
his answer.
Please pray for our daughter as our
doctors have recently discovered a
tumor in her stomach. We have had to
cancel all plans until we know more.
